This Dubarry leather absorbes 60% less moisture and requires 70% less time to dry than other types of leather, ensuring that your Dubarry boots will always stay soft and comfortable.

The secret of Dubarry boots is the GORE-TEX inner lining. GORE-TEX makes the boots 100% waterproof but wicks away perspiration keeping your feet dry.

Why do Dubarry boots work so well as a snow boot?

• Staying dry in cold conditions isn't just a matter of comfort - It's your safety. There are many boots that will keep the damp of the snow out, but they also trap the moisture in. Gore-Tex lining wicks away the perspiration, so the boot interior stays dry even when you are pushing yourself to the limits.
• Grip in wetter snow can be tricky. You want enough tread to give you traction on the snow without collecting clumps of snow and ice. Dubarry boots have an optimal snow tread - deep enough for tracion and shallow enough to prevent the compacted snow from building up.
• Other breathable leather snow boots may perform similarly to a Dubarry, but Dubarry boots are constructed with treated leathers that cope with wetting and drying without becoming heavy and sodden. Salt can also be removed simply with warm water, preventing damage to leather and stiching.
